Folsom Fiesta 2009
"A Place To Pout - A Lady's Boudouir" was the theme for this year's Folsom Fiesta, the May Day Minis 23rd Annual State Day.

The primary focus of this year's workshop was the creation of a chaise or "fainting couch", and the acompanying pleated dresser and stool, which took the better part of the day to complete. Kits were provided for the remainder of the accessories and explanations were given for those.  In addition, participants were provided with the roombox to house the vignette. As always, it was another wonderful project. Shown here are the committee's completed samples.

For the first time, last year's participants were invited to bring back their completed projects from last year's workshop, "Go To Your Room". Attendees at this year's workshop chose their choice for first and second place and all entries are shown below.
Looking at the finished vignettes, it is no wonder these State Days are a quick sell out.

Thanks to all the committee for another fabulous day!
